Powerful

In these troubled times it is easy to get weighed down with the unrest that surrounds us.  It is important to remember that not only are we part of this dispensation that will be fighting the adversary, but our children.  We must fight to protect and preserve them.  I watched this holding my 13 month old son and couldn't help but get emotional, he sat through the whole thing and even pointed when he saw Christ.  If we are faithful, fervently praying and practicing our religion, we will know when the time is at hand and we will be prepared.  My family is not perfect but we are doing the best we can. We have started daily family scripture study and family prayers.  My son now sits and folds his arms for at least the beginning of the prayer but even if he gets wiggly during it, he has learned to say "amen".  We are so grateful for our children and the blessing they are to us.  Be lifted, be empowered, be mindful, be spiritual.
