I have sorely neglected the blog for the past couple months because our life has been turned upside down. Daddy's job was supposed to turn into a full time teaching at home job and because of that, Mommy had decided she was going to get some work experience outside of the home. Just as Mommy went through the emotional rigamarole of apply, interviewing and starting a job, Daddy's job decided they didn't like their previous offer and rescinded. So that left us in quite a difficult spot. Mommy was already training for her job and Daddy could not believe what was happening. To make a long story short, Mommy worked for about a month, Daddy finished teaching his last class as an adjunct faculty and looked for a different job. That job for Daddy came much faster than expected and Mommy stopped working to be home with the kids. To sum up, Daddy is in a new job and life at home is still adjusting. We are adjusting pretty well but it was a whirlwind of a couple of months.
During those months, the kids started school, there have been 3 birthdays and Little Princess is growing healthy and strong. Buddy is doing very well in school and was even student of the month last month! He has lots of friends and has transitioned fantastically. Bruiser has started a once a week Tot school in prep for Preschool with the same teacher next year. He loves it and we are sure will do very well! Princess is growing and has lots of friends. She is learning more responsibility at home and even made the decision to have her hair cut to her shoulders, which kind of surprised us. Little Princess giggles and smiles and makes cute little noises. She is rolling all over the place and even eating cereal. We are going to start veggies soon. We feel very blessed to have these munchkins and they teach us every day. Whenever it's a bad day, the best thing is to have a big hug from the kids, it makes everything better and puts it in perspective.
We still feel up in the air with the stuff going on right now but we know that if we put our trust in the Lord, He will take care of us, we just have to put in the faith and the hard work.
