So our little 4 yr old is back in preschool and had an awesome first day. She gets to sit with her cousin at the same table this year. She is going to be working on her name and getting ready for next year. She is already recognizing numbers and letters a lot better than last year and she loves practicing. Now she will actually point out a number or letter and it will be correct. Her brother loves it when she practices too because he likes to look at the animals on her flash cards and copy her. When it was time to leave the house, he wanted to bring his backpack too, hence the picture where they both look like they are going to school. She is so excited and I am excited for her. It will be a good year!
On a side note, baby is almost here. 7 more weeks and we get to meet our newest addition. Also my husband is going to be looking into getting his Master's degree and I am so excited for him! A couple of years from now he will hopefully be doing his dream job. Speaking of my amazing husband, he got the cold the kids had over the weekend and still went to work this morning. He isn't feeling great but knew he needed to go. Recently he trained in another position to cover for the lady who has the job because she is never able to get any time off. Well, he went in this morning and found out the poor lady ended up having an appendectomy over the weekend and will be out all week. Everyone is glad he is there to cover and I am sure the lady he is covering for is recovering and grateful to have him there too. We Love You Daddy and think you are GREAT!!!
