Happy Birthday My Sweet Girl!

It is hard to believe that 3 yrs ago I was in a hospital bed, had been pushing for hours already, thankfully had an epidural and was tirelessly awaiting the birth of my first child. How grateful we are to have our beautiful daughter!
Before...the toddler bed which she was getting kinda long for but could stay in for a couple more months.
After...the Big Girl-twin bed- that she got because Daddy's Aunt was giving the practically new mattress away before she moves. We are so grateful and she loves it!
Birthday pancake blow-out. We had her cake at her party so with her special breakfast this morning, we sang again and had her blow out her pancakes. It was fun and a tradition we think we are going to start with our family.
Here are some pictures of her today. That is our first family picture in the background, she was 1. She has gotten so big and grown up quite a lot. She knows her colors well and is starting to get the alphabet. We are still working on numbers, but she is learning so much. She gets to start preschool this year with her Aunt LaDawn as her teacher and her cousin in her class. She will have so much fun!
Brother asleep on the way home from lunch with Grammy.
Our tired birthday girl after her birthday lunch with Grammy.
Opening presents at her party last Saturday evening.
Her tricycle Mommy and Daddy got her. Guess what she found on it first, it has a bell!
Brother getting some yummy cake with the help of begging to Grandma.
Her birthday cake...Cinderella's gown lit up, it is hard to see but she really liked it. She also only ate the frosting after that she pushed aside the rest of the cake and announced she was done.
Her big wheel she got from Grandpa, she saw this before the tricycle and immediately got on and tried it out. She got lots of cute clothes too! Thank goodness, some of them were getting kinda snug. I think she came out with a good birthday, she even got cash from both great grandmothers and one of mommy's friends.
