This is how the conversation with the kids went yesterday morning on the way to taking Daddy to work. Note: (the kids don't know the titles to their favorite songs, so they are identified by familiarity of words in the songs).
Daughter: "I want my Lion King song."
Son: "NO! Dum-Dum song please."
I started laughing heartily at how funny her son sounded imitating his big sister in her insistence upon listening to favorite songs. Some of the lyrics in the song my son requested actually say, "dum dum dee dee da dee dum dum dee." Therefore, the Dum Dum song.
My son has started more easily imitating his sister and it just makes Daddy and Mommy laugh!
