Some interesting things my daughter put into the family prayer tonight:
Thank you for our blessings (a first)
Thank you for temples (another first)
Thank you for: and she names all of us
Thank you for breakfast (hilarious)
Then she starts to look around at things in her room and is thankful for her dress up crown and a few other toys.
I am glad she is learning how to say prayers out loud. When she wanted to say it 6 months ago, she was very quiet and would mumble everything except "in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen." Now she is doing so much better and sometimes comes up with funny things or surprises her father and I, like tonight. My sweet girl, she is growing up so fast.
